Overview:

Radiology Services Inc. is seeking a highly motivated Field Service Engineer to support Healthcare technology service in the New England area. The main role of the position will be to ensure all related diagnostic x-ray imaging medical equipment is maintained in a quality manner. The ideal candidate will have outstanding customer service and communication skills as well as strong technical skills and commitment to deliver excellent repair service in a professional manner.

Key Duties:

Inspect, maintain, and repair CR & DR X-ray imaging equipment, fluoroscopy equipment, and other hospital diagnostic imaging equipment per manufacturer specifications to ensure optimal performance and safety.

Assist in equipment removals to prepare for new projects at customer sites.

Perform new Imaging equipment installations per the guidance of the Sales & Operations teams.

Provide effective and professional communication with clinical health providers in the Hospital/Urgent Care/Medical Practice settings.

Accurately complete all required paperwork including but not limited to, Work Orders, Installation Reports, Equipment Inspection Reports.

Ability to participate in an on-call rotation schedule as needed.

Travel to various areas to complete service calls at customer sites within the New England area.
Required Qualifications:

Associate Degree in electronics or equivalent combination of education and experience; BMET/BSEE/BSEET/BSME/BSMET preferred but not required.

Basic understanding of computers & networking

Ability to understand and apply electronic, mechanical, and networking theory to install, diagnose, and repair equipment, including knowledge and use of all necessary tools and test equipment.

Reliable Vehicle & Valid Drivers License - Position requires the use of a personal car which is eligible for car maintenance allowance

Frequently lifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling up to 20 pounds. Occasionally lifting or carrying items over 70 pounds.

Experience working in the healthcare setting is a plus but not required
